Practice Information
-
I am dedicated to having therapy be accessible and a place where folks don’t need to choose between quality of care and financial stability. This has led me to approach my pricing somewhat differently than industry standard.
I practice equitable pricing, allowing clients to choose their own rate based on their resources. Every person I work with has a different relationship with money and resources, and equitable pricing respects those relationships.
Below are some examples of why folks may choose to pay at, above, or below my market rate. I have adapted this from embracingequity.org.
In the end, please pay what feels right for you. I won’t ask you directly about your financial situation, unless it’s a topic you bring up to work with in sessions. This is simply the structure I’m exploring in order to feel the most in line with my values around access to care.
My 2025/2026 rates:
Market: $200 per 55 minute session.
Under market: $25-$175
Over market: $225-$400
Consider paying the market rate if you:
are single and/or without dependents
are able to repay your student loans, are in repayment, or have paid them off
have employer health insurance or other employer benefits
have daily reliable transportation
are able to miss work either for sickness or leisure and are still able to pay next month’s bills
travel when needed, especially for unexpected occasions, such as a funeral or emergency
Consider paying less than market if you:
are supporting children or other dependents
have significant debt
have medical expenses not covered by insurance
are eligible for public assistance
have immigration-related expenses
are an elder with limited financial support
are an unpaid community organizer
are a returning citizen who has been denied work due to incarceration history
experience discrimination in hiring or pay level
are descended from enslaved people or Native American peoples
Consider paying more than market if you:
own the home you live in
have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money
travel for recreation
have access to family money and resources in times of need
work part time or are unemployed by choice, including unemployment due to full-time school in a degree-earning program
have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education (or gender, and racial, privilege, class background, etc.)

In August of 2024 I completed Antioch University, Seattle’s Sex Therapy Certificate Program and I am working toward full certification. Though I’ve been supporting clients in exploring their sexuality and gender throughout my entire career, it is important to me to have the solid educational backing to make sex therapy my primary focus.
Sex therapy is not unlike traditional psychotherapy – in fact, it would look exactly the same if you viewed a session without hearing the content. There is no touch between the therapist and clients, the content is not meant to be flirty or arousing. It is a space in which the client can explore their sexual, erotic, and/or gender concerns, nuances, and identities. My hope is that you will feel safe enough with me to explore to the extent you wish for your own transformation.

I see both California and Washington State clients via telehealth using a HIPPA compliant Zoom account.
I also offer a combination of telehealth and in-person sessions. I am available for several months of the year to see in-person clients in Santa Rosa, CA.

I have been a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC, LH60611750) since 2015 and can see Washington residents via Zoom. I have been a California Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC, #11768) since 2022 and see California residents via Zoom.

Good Faith Estimates Notice to Current & Prospective Clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask me, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. [Since I request payment at the time of therapy services, you will not receive a bill from me unless you have not paid for a service.] Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
